About Subscriptions
Pipeline theme has subscription selectors built into the product page. Use any app that supports Shopify checkout and subscriptions will work in Pipeline without any need to install the app code in the product files. Pipeline handles subscription selectors, price changes, and cart information about subscriptions.
This content type will accept rich text to help with adding styles and links to additional pages or content. Use this to add supplementary information to help your buyers.
You can use product metafields to assign content to this tab that is unique to an individual product. Use tabs to highlight unique features, sizing information, or other sales information.
About Subscriptions
This is an example of a membership product. Pipeline integrates with all checkout subscription apps on the product page to bring a fluid and consistent style to subscription products. Pipeline handles the subscriptions selectors and price changes to ensure that the experience is consistent and clean across all products and pages.
You will still want to use the app integrations for customer management, so you customers can update their cards and cancel subscriptions. Pipeline is focused on bringing the best possible experience before checkout but apps are better positioned to manage the customer experience of updating cards, upgrading, downgrading, and cancelling.
